Thanks Mom!

I hope that you all were able to spoil your Mom’s this past Sunday. Most florists do not get to celebrate Mother’s Day in the traditional way, since most of us do end up working, but it is definitely fun to get to make bouquets to spoil other Mom’s. This year I had to be a little more realistic with my work load, since this was the first major holiday since my son was born. I decided to offer my clients a limited choice of the style of bouquet since I still have baby brain, and the creative juices are just starting to flow again. They still turned out to be luscious and beautiful, well at least I think so.

Every now and again an order will sneak in that does not fall into one of these categories,  and these are what i refer to as the just because bouquet. I love just because bouquets. They sole purpose is often just to cheer someone up, or to let someone know that you are thinking of them. These random acts of kindness really make my day, and I often find myself spoiling family and friends with secret deliveries of bouquets, just because….
